The Club owns approximately forty nine percent of this foal. That first sip of mothers milk is a crucial one and is called colostrum rand is full Of antibodies until the foals own immune system builds. This clubs foal, his conformation is near perfect. When you have the chance to see numerous other foals one can’t help but compare and not one of the other foals match up to this guy. He really is that great, come see for yourself. Members can visit the farm and there’s plenty of entertainment in the area. A new casino, a dozen or so vineyard, restaurants and more. You can follow our foals progress as the foal grows up on videos published by House of Thoroughbreds.
Generally about six months into the foals life he is weaned off mom. Now separated and put into a group of weanlings these youngsters get the chance to prove themselves amongst they’re peer’s as they run in a pack challenging, toying and teasing each other learning characteristics of the way of the pack. This is not to say it’s all fun and games. There is some training and quite possibly conditioning for the weanlings. This consists of day to day handling of the colt by humans, human interaction will help the colt to behave well. In addition this leads directly up to breaking, training and conditioning as a yearling.
Thoroughbreds all have the same birthday January one. The Clubs yearling colt will spend the next five months or so grazing, growing and frolicking around the pasture. Long about mid May he will begin sales prep. Sales Prep will develop muscle tone, build bone mass, increase coordination and basic motor skills. When yearlings go thru the sales ring they are looked with a fine tooth comb by trainers, Pinhookers and Bloodstock agents. Conformation, muscle definition, balance and a fine coat are just a few details they see. We want this to be the greatest experience you’ll ever have. We look forward to your visiting the ranch and your colt so we can show you his progress.
Yearlings with little to no sales prep reap little to no bids. Good muscle definition, no belly because it‘s tucked up tight like a race horse should be. Prep also provides lots of handling. Making for an easier to break & train yearling. Sales prep is absolutely vital.
Sales Prep is everything when it comes to the auction ring. Like detailing & buffing an old hot rod for a carshow. Hooves buffed and polished (seriously) coat slicked down and wiped constantly, Mane combed or even braided. Looking they’re Sunday best brings the highest bid possible bringing you the largest sale bonus we can get for you.
